Responsibilities May Include:

Creation of project structures in SAP and EcoSys.
Creation of networks and activities to support the requisition process.
Work closely with Project Managers and Cost Specialists to establish and input the initial budget .
Review and validate invoices and purchase orders for compliance with cost coding and budget allocations.
Submit monthly accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist with invoice issues , including resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payment processing.
Facilitate asset registration and ensure accurate documentation of project assets.
Manage commitments to maintain alignment between project costs and budgets.
Support the Cost Specialist with regular and ad hoc reporting requirements .
Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization across projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 or more years of experience in cost control or cost engineering , preferably within the oil and gas industry .
Strong knowledge of cost management principles, methodologies, and tools .
Proficiency in cost control and reporting software , including SAP and Microsoft Excel (or similar systems).
Experience managing large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects with increasing levels of responsibility, complexity, and scope .
Solid understanding of the project lifecycle and the cross-functional interactions required for successful project execution.
Experience working with major EPC firms or oil & gas operators .
Proficiency in EcoSys and Power BI for cost control, analysis, and reporting.
Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PMP , or equivalent are highly desirable.
Familiarity with project planning and scheduling processes and integration with cost management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
