Job Description

Since 2009, Ardebili Engineering has been redefining what it means to be a collaborative design firm. Headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, we don’t just engineer buildings—we engineer relationships, culture, and success .

Our projects span across sectors, but our people-first culture is what sets us apart. Here, you’re not a cog in a machine—you’re a voice in the room, a leader in the making, and a core part of a team that values excellence, integrity, and human connection.

If you're tired of your work going unnoticed, this is where your contributions actually move the needle.

About the Role – Be More Than a Designer

This isn’t your typical design role. At Ardebili, our Designers are:

  • Project collaborators trusted from concept through QA/QC.
  • Creative thinkers who bring solutions to the table.
  • Mentors and learners , because when you grow, we all grow.

You’ll have the chance to own your designs, influence standards, and directly impact how communities thrive.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Autonomy with Support – You’ll own your work but never feel alone.
  • Culture of Clarity – Open communication is the norm. Questions are encouraged.
  • Design with Purpose – Your designs will shape buildings, communities, and client success.
  • Growth-Minded Team – You’ll be mentored, but also empowered to mentor others.
  • Long-Term Vision – This is a career runway, not a short stop. We hire for potential, not just resumes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with internal teams to turn client vision into clean, compliant design.
  • Proactively communicate project status, ask thoughtful questions, and flag risks early.
  • Support project flow and timelines with strong coordination skills.

Design & Code Compliance

  • Execute electrical or mechanical designs using industry codes and company standards.
  • Ensure every detail aligns with project scope and compliance requirements.
  • Utilize software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, vendor platforms).

Drafting & Standards

  • Translate designs into clear 2D/3D drawings using established drafting protocols.
  • Deliver designs that reflect accuracy, clarity, and intention.

QA/QC & Excellence

  • Perform detailed self-checks to ensure your work meets quality expectations.

Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Share knowledge and elevate others through training and feedback.
  • Contribute to improving design processes and best practices.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A proactive communicator with a passion for high-quality design.
  • Someone who thrives in collaboration and takes ownership of their work.
  • A detail-oriented thinker who balances structure with creativity.
  • Experience with Revit/CAD required ; background in mechanical or electrical design strongly preferred.
