Job Description:
St. Bridget Catholic School (Cheshire), a Catholic school committed to academic excellence and faith formation, is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Middle School Science Teacher for an 8-week assignment (January 22, 2026-March 30, 2026). The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science instruction aligned with curriculum standards, fostering a respectful and faith-centered classroom environment, and supporting the academic and personal growth of middle school students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification preferred
  • Experience teaching middle school science preferred
  • Commitment to faith-based education and positive student development

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching middle school science classes and implementing lesson plans
  • Assessing student learning and providing timely feedback
  • Maintaining classroom management consistent with Catholic values
  • Collaborating with faculty and communicating with parents/guardians as needed
  • Supporting the mission and Catholic identity of the school
