Job Description
Join an established FedEx contractor as a CDL-A Tractor Trailer Driver based in NJ. This is a Connecticut night run position, ideal for experienced drivers seeking consistent schedules and daily home time.
Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL-A tractor trailer on a dedicated night route to Middletown Connecticut, starting at 9pm from Woodbridge, NJ
- The shift is from 9pm until 7am, Monday-Friday
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight according to company and FedEx standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the last 5 years
- Current DOT medical certificate
- Familiarity with ELD log systems
- Ability to pass DOT and drug screening
- Doubles endorsement
