Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing financial and decision support analysis by providing insights and actionable intelligence to improve the financial decision-making process. This role also includes partnering with all areas of the organization in analyses to enhance business decisions and processes for the entire organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  1. Publishes monthly P&L as well as business and financial indicators to Senior Leadership team.
  2. Develops expertise in extracting data from various tools and transforming into analysis.
  3. Provides financial analysis and insights into expansion decisions and key investment decisions.
  4. Develops operating budget, perform variance analysis, and utilize results to inform forecast.
  5. Supports various strategic analysis projects aimed at improving P&L and cash flow.
  6. Participates on project teams providing financial support and representing Finance and Accounting requirements as needed.
  7. Coordinates and consolidates data for all Actual and Forecast cycles across the organization.
  8. Leads department reviews during financial close cycles.
  9. Focuses on data and analytics to identify insights of key business drivers and decision points.
  10. Assists with financial reports and presentations (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
  11. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field. Minimum 3+ years’ analysis experience preferably in the health care industry. Strong written and oral communication. Experience in cost accounting methodologies, including cost standards, indirect allocation methodology, and cost accounting systems.
