Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district near New Orleans, LA for the current school year. This onsite-only role supports a K–12 caseload and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic and social success.
Position Details:
- Location: Near New Orleans, LA
- Caseload: K–12 students
- Schedule: Full-time, onsite only
- Pay: $40+ per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Support inclusive learning by implementing effective therapy strategies
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Louisiana
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
